Maybe It Should Be Called The JZ Knight Bill

Nine Washington State Senators (Fraser, Swecker, Pridemore, Ranker, Fairley, Kauffman, Marr, Regala and Morton) have introduced to the Washington State Legislature a Bill that is consistent and almost word-for-word the issue JZ Knight’s legal team brought before the Court and was the Final Judgment by Judge Wickham Nov. 8th, 2008 regarding approving new developments without proof of an adequate water supply.

The short titles are listed on this PDF. Unfortunately, the link on that document doesn’t work, but a PDF copy of the bill is posted here.

Where does this leave the city of Yelm’s appeal of this decision? Most certainly dead in the water if the bill passes the legislature.

In addition, the Thurston County Planning Commission has planned meeting at the Yelm City Council Chamber on February 11th, from 9-11 tomorrow to discuss the issue.
